Wait, please slow down

As, I went to bed last night, never did I imagine, that this day would be today. The day, that my little Miracle would transition from my baby to my toddler. I can't believe that this day is here, where is my little bundle of joy? I know that they have to grow up sometime, but does it have to be so soon?
I am trying to transition Bryce into one long nap instead of two short ones. But this morning Bryce seemed very tired, so I laid her down. I then jumped in the shower to get ready for the day ahead. When I got out of the shower, I heard Bryce fussing, which is so not her. Then her cry turned different, I ran into her room. Once I opened her door, there she stood. I couldn't believe it, she was out of her bed. I noticed a red mark on her head, so she hit something on the way down. I can't believe it, but I am THANKFUL that it has taken her this long to climb out. Looks as if Daddy has more work to do when he comes home tonight.
After a very eventful morning, we headed off to Target. We were on our way to buy a Princess Potty. Bryce has taken the lead and is ready. When we arrived home, we placed the new potty in the bathroom. I then asked Bryce if she need to go potty. Another shock, she went right away and has been going all afternoon. You go Brycie Bear!!!

Notice the empty toilet paper holder, someone likes to play with it and well, now it is even a better opportunity.

Well, it was time for an afternoon nap, and as I laid Bryce down she screamed. This was so not like her. She loves her bed, her baby, her blanket, her choochies, her music and her sleep. I let her go for a few minutes, but I just wanted to go outside, listening to her scream made me so upset. The poor little love was screaming "momma, momma". I then went in there and asked her if she needed to go potty, she said yes. So we went potty and tried to lay her down again. It started all over, just like before with the screaming. I then decided that this was not right, went in there, picked her up as she held all her choochies, water, blanket and baby. She also had one leg on the railing. I picked her up and felt how tense her little body was. I held her and swayed with her. Then I realized and I hate that I didn't figure this out before- she was scared of her bed, scared of falling again. So I laid Bryce on my chest and we laid on the floor, it only took her two minutes and she was asleep. I then placed her on a blanket, on the floor to sleep. She then slept for 3 hours and emerged from her room straight to the potty. How amazing in this.
So red from screaming, sorry little one.
When Alan came home, he made the bed that he once made for his baby into a toddlers bed. What a sight to see, and so soon.

And she sleeps....
