We all woke up in a funk this morning, because this day had arrived. It is time to make our way towards home. But before we are officially home we will be spending a few days with the Churchill’s. After we packed up pretty quickly and early, we made one last stop at Elmer’s for breakfast. It was just as good as the first time.
Alan decided that we should take the scenic route, thought it may take a little longer, it would be worth it. Of course he was right. We were able to see wild Elk. Lots of wild Elk. The babies were so cute.
We made a late stop for lunch in Eureka. Bryce has officially mastered drinking out of a straw. She is so proud!!!
After a very, very long day in the truck, we decided to just get a hotel for the night. It was 9:00 and much easier than looking for a place for the camper. Alan took us to the Hilton in Santa Rosa. It was beautiful. As soon as we let Bryce into the room, the first place that she went, pajamas and all was to the bath tub. She climbed in and laughed. Do you think that she really misses the real thing? Poor thing has not seen a real tub in 3 weeks.
