Our first day

It is so hard to believe, but this is the first day that we are on our vacation, by ourselves. Yes, just the three of us. We have loved all the time shared with family while on our vacation and will forever cherish it. But today is OUR day!!! Alan, Bryce and I went back into Hood River and enjoyed a great lunch at the Hood River Inn. It was a very beautiful brick building, and very historical. You know there were some great stories to be told about it.

On our way to returning to our campground, Bryce fell asleep. Instead of moving her from the truck, Alan sat for 2 hours with her while she slept. What a great Daddy, I am so THANKFUL for him. While Alan sat with Bryce I was able to get the laundry put away and do a few dishes. It was great quiet time for all of us.

Right after dinner, Bryce was very eager to help Daddy get the fire pit ready to have a fire when it got dark. Better watch out, Bryce it learning how to use the hatchet. Why does my baby have to grow up?

We noticed that they had a wonderful play ground here inside the campground and were so excited. We took Bryce to the play ground tonight and she LOVED each moment of it as well as we did.

Oh, Bryce learned two new words today, Squirrel and Choo choo. She says them so cute with her little voice. The train came by in the middle of the night and blared his horn. Poor little love cried and said ”choo choo”. It only happened one night or we would have been out of there quickly.
