Crater Lake

As of last night, we decided to move on. We had planned to stay here for one more day, but the fishing was not meeting it expectation. So we packed up early and headed down the road.

A great treat was to see all of these cattle loose on the highway. There were so many of them and they just stood in the middle of the road. I sure hope that they were rounded up and the whole in the fence was fixed.

When I was young, our family went to visit Crater Lake. It was so fun to share this with my little family. I even called Grandpa Ken to rub it in while we stood there. Crater Lake is one of God’s true beautiful creations.

As of Today, I really have not felt like I was “on vacation”. With processing and looking for a place to move, there is no time to relax. But, as we made our way from Crater Lake this morning, playing some Kenny G, Bryce slept and it finally hit me. RELAX – and I did.

We made camp at Valley of the Rogue SP. Absolutely perfect is one way to describe this park. The fishing looked promising for all on the Rogue River. There were millions and millions of berries to be picked. It is located about 15 minutes from Medford, OR.
