I had a very early start this morning, well sort of. I woke up at 5:30 and could not go back to sleep. I was even up a few times in the night to check on Bryce. One time I went in there her legs were hanging over the bed and her torso was still in the bed. She stayed asleep the whole night long, which was wonderful. Even though I didn't sleep, but that is the job of a mother.
Bryce woke at 7:00 this morning, and I heard "Momma, Momma". I ran in her room to find her standing in her bed and showing that she wanted to go potty. We raced to the bathroom and success. You are amazing Bryce. Then we ate breakfast and all of the sudden Bryce needed to go potty again. So Alan took her and lets just say,"she took care of her business", well, it freaked her out and she won't get back on the potty at all. I thought that we were doing so well. I know that there is hurdles training them so early and this is one of them.
Well, I then left to get my hair cut (came out WAY to short), so Bryce and Alan headed to Target for a bed rail. Alan found Bryce a wonderful new toy while they were there. He bought her a Thomas the Tank Engine. She loves her "Choo choos".
Now back to the day of opposites besides the potty, can you say "NO" naps, not one. Bryce cried when we put her in her bed, we tried several times and even put the gate up to show her it was nap time. I tried laying with her and so did Alan but, it never happened. This is a girl that usually has 4 hours of naps a day, now she is a fussy mess.
This has definitely been the day that is so opposite of " My Bryce". But I better get used to it, I know that there is more to come. I pray though that she sleeps tonight, it has been a long day.
Bryce's bed rail, yes she is not in there.
