The Day After Christmas

As we drove home from Papa Jack's and Grandma Ginny's last night, Bryce fell asleep at 6:45. I was not sure what to do, wake her, let her sleep...ugh! Well, Alan and I discussed it and the worst scenario would be I was up in the middle of the night for a while and that would be alright, the job that I am so thankful for. The other scenario would be she slept all night. So, we put this little sick love in bed, plugged in the vaporizer and let her rest. About 9:30 she awoke very unhappy, but with some medicine and a bottle, she was soon back to bed.
Throughout the night, I awoke in anticipation of Bryce waking soon, but that never happened. To our surprise she called for us 14 hours later. Someone was very tired and that rest was so good for her. The first thing that she said this morning was of course, "make, make". As I picked her up from her bed, she made her way down the hall to her kitchen. Bryce was even able to take 2 very wonderful naps today and then get right back to her kitchen, her favorite place to be.
It really doesn't matter what your hair is doing as long as you can cook, I guess.

Aunt Kellie and Uncle Greg gave this wonderful Little People camping play set to Bryce. It is so amazing, there are sleeping bags, an ice chest, chairs and a tent trailer. It even has some wonderful sounds when you push the buttons, -crickets, owls, the crackling fire and some wonderful dancing music. Bryce was so funny tonight dancing...she just kept pushing that button and it really looks like she is doing the Mo-mo dance, even if she keeps falling down.
The sad thing is I can't get this video to flip the right way. But it is so funny I had to post it. So turn your head to the left and enjoy. If I can get it to flip, I will re-post it.

Tomorrow night, Alan and I are meeting 20 friends from high school at Downtown Disney. My stomach hurts already thinking of leaving Bryce when she is sick, but I know that she will be in wonderful hands. Grandma Ginny is coming to the rescue, to care for our little love. I am so beyond excited to see these wonderful old friends. Thanks Momma, you are truely an angel.
