Bananas and Cousins

Each day for the last few weeks, Bryce has wanted to start her day with a yummy banana (I am not complaining, she is a healthy eater). She sits up at the counter and enjoys each bite. As we went through the market yesterday, she decided that she needed to eat 2 of them. We had to get creative when it came time to pay for them. But it was done and we left with our 2 paid for banana peels...

Tonight was the Lama Family Christmas Party, an event that we have not been able to attend for a few years. But tonight, we were there. Bryce had a wonderful time meeting Great Uncles, Great Aunts, Uncles and Aunts and Cousins that she has never meet.

Christie introduced Bryce to Little Lucy. They were friends right from the start.
Then as Grandma Midge held Lucy, Bryce enjoyed feeding her a treat. I loved watching Bryce's mouth open as she was feeding Lucy. So funny how we all do that.
This was the biggest moment...Bryce met Mackenzie, Grant and Morgan, her cousins for the first time. Grandma Midge cried. It was a wonderful unforgettable moment shared by so many.
Bryce took no time making up for lost years with Grant. She climbed in his lap and enjoyed a few moments of a football game.
Then there were the Twins, Bryce acted as if she had known them for her entire 23 month life...it was so heart warming to see them be together, enjoying each other.
Heather and Bryce also seemed to have this wonderful connection.

The chaos- time for all the kids to open their presents.
Heather was such a great help when it came time for Bryce to open her gifts. Thank you everyone for those special gifts for Bryce.
Look its Minnie Mouse
Morgan and Mackenzie are going to make great Mommy's. They both put Bryce into her Pj's and got her ready for bed. Thanks Girls!!!

In Life...there are steps that need to be taken. We may not always want to take those steps, but it is the right thing to do. The right thing may not always be what we want, but what we want may not always be the right thing, that is why we have to take that step. We took a HUGE step!!! Thank you Lord, for that nudge.
