A Big Helper

Bryce and I had a wonderful yet busy morning. We went to the post office and it was so fun to have Bryce help put the stamps on the envelopes. If your Christmas card has a crooked stamp, it was personally placed by Bryce. She then was such a big girl and put them all in the mail slot. We then spent the next 2 hours getting last minute Christmas things taken care of. It is such a joy to have Bryce want and to be such a big part of all the chores and errands that need to be done each day. I am beyond cherishing these moments while they last.
When we arrived home this afternoon, Bryce wanted to play dress up in my vest. How cute she is, trying to be bigger than she is. Slow down little one, I know the day is coming when you will be in my closet borrowing my clothes. I so look forward to that, just not yet.

When I arrived back home tonight, after a little one on one time with Grandma Ginny,(Thanks Grandma Ginny and Alan), this was the sight that I saw. This cute little Bryce having a snack, with the most outrageous hair ever. Don't you wish that you could be this cute and walk around like this, not have a care in the world, I do.
One of the stops that Bryce and I made today was to the fabric store. For the last few weeks, she has seen Charlotte have in the car a Elmo blanket. Well, the Elmo blanket was made for Greysen almost 5 years ago by me, when he was so into Elmo. So, I thought that maybe since Bryce is so into Elmo, maybe she needs one too. As Bryce and I searched the isle for Elmo fabric, this was the one that we came up with. I would have loved to find a cuter one, but she loved this one. She loved it so much that she was hugging the fabric. So, we paid for it, I distracted her and she has not asked again about the fabric. I know I won't be able to pull this off for much longer, but it is so fun while it last. When she goes to bed tonight, I will sew her the most precious Elmo blanket ever. I think that we will wait till Christmas Eve to give it to her. You know, we have a tradition of new PJ's on Christmas Eve and well a new Elmo blanket with that makes for a perfect gift.
