We decided that we were going to head out for lunch today, then the phone rang. Time to show the house again...I'm done already. So with that, we decided to go to our favorite place and that is Victoria Gardens. We thought that we would have a nice lunch, a visit with Santa and a train ride.
Waiting, waiting for what? My parents say we are waiting for Santa, but what is that? What am I too think? I know that it is a beautiful day, I know that my tummy is full, I know that I am loved, Bad or Good, Happy or Sad, but what is this Santa that I am waiting for?
The cutest little Santa Bull Dog that you ever did see, this guy was solid. If he was mine, I would name him Winston (for you Daddy).
Well, as parents, you have to be prepared for those not so planned moments. As we stood in line waiting for Santa, I thought about how perfectly and cute Bryce sat on the Easter Bunny's lap. Will that happen now, what will she think? Good thing, I had my camera ready, or we would have been paying big bucks for a very sad little one that was so afraid of Santa that she held her breath. This is a time that I was happy with myself for saying "No", that we didn't want these pictures. The girl taking the pictures thought that they were so cute, but I think that is apart of her job. I was so sad for Bryce, not knowing, not being prepared or feeling safe, sorry little love.
After her whole world came to a crying traumatizing halt, we decided to fix it with a wonderful Choo Choo ride. Bryce was back to her normal little self in a matter of moments. I really think that she wants to be a train conductor when she grows up.
Well, there comes a time when you really need to make your home feel and look like Christmas. We were going to put our tree up last week, but with us being gone, we decided to wait. After a very adventurous (emotional day), we arrived at Star Berry Farms in search of the perfect Muller Family Tree. I have to admit that my eyes kept eye balling those 10 footers, like the one from last year. But when you are selling a house, you want it to look big, so that means a smaller tree. I will also admit, this is the shortest time that we have spent picking out our tree, there have been years that it has taken me forever. I know, but I love having the perfect tree, it may not be perfect tree in sight, but God made it and we picked it. That is what makes it the perfect tree.
Searching for the perfect tree
After picking the perfect tree, it was time to go over and check out the fresh veggies and statues.
Bryce loved checking out the statues in front of Star Berry Farms, there were Christmas decorations as well as this wonderful turtle.
This is the funniest sight to us. This is the smallest tree that we have ever had and the first that has ever been placed on my car.
Another funny thing for the night is, did you know that there is actually a crayon named Macaroni and Cheese. Bryce was playing with a cup and lid tonight and the lid went under the fridge. So as Daddy came to the rescue, he also found this crayon. We had a great laugh as we saw what this crayon had been named. They must be running out of names for their colors with so many out there.
