Sun and Sand

For several weeks, we (Ann and I) have been talking about several fun things to do this summer with the kids. Well, we made that happen today with a trip to a new beach, Crystal Cove. While taking a Sunday afternoon drive this last weekend, the Baiseri family stumbled onto a wonderful new spot. We are so glad that they did because we loved it today.

It is a quiet little place that is full of magic and history. As you walk down the path you come to an old rustic little beach village. There are little cottages for rent right on the beach, a restaurant, a shake shack and a little store. The beach is the greatest part, there are tide pools and because it is really a tucked back place, no crowds. All the kids had such a great time, as well as Ann and I. The girls were so great happily playing in the sand and we never had to chase them once away from the water. I guess we should enjoy that now, because we know that it won't stay this way forever.

Greysen heading out to boogie boardNice wave, Grey!
It's a beautiful day to play in the sand, Mommy!
The person that made this hat, had Charlie in mind. She is so stinking cute in it.
Which way did they go?
Not that way!
Have you seen my feet?
Still looking so dang cute and having fun!
Looks like they wore themselves out, to bad they only fell asleep a few minutes before we were home.
Thanks for the great day again Ann!
