It was another beautiful day in Bass Lake. This is a picture of the view from the lower level at that cabin where Grandpa and Grandma are staying. Absolutely Beautiful!!!
Bryce and Grandpa set out peanuts for the Blue Jays today. Then she would climb up in his lap and they would watch the birds come. One by one, the Blue Jays would swoop by grabbing one of the perfectly placed peanuts from the railing and fly to a near by branch to eat their peanut. When the peanuts ran out, they decided to us a can of Spanish Peanuts to see if more Jays would come. Well, you never thought that a bird would be picky about free peanuts…they wouldn't touch them. So Bryce proceeded to feed one peanut at a time to Daddy, Grandpa and herself.

We enjoyed the warmth of the sun and the beautiful blue skies as we took a little walk by the lake this afternoon. We really would have loved if it was cooler, but the sun did feel so good. Each year when we come up here, Mom is telling us how cold it is. Well, that is never the case when we get here. The days have always been comfy, but warm and then the nights are very cold. What about being cold all day long? Oh well!
There seemed to be an endless amount of things for Bryce to do down by the lake shore. She enjoyed going down the slide (she would have stayed there all day if we would have let her). There were shells to be collected, fools gold to wish upon and rocks to throw. A lady bug even decided to pay a visit to Bryce’s hair.

We had such a wonderful time Grandpa and Grandma (Mom and Papa). Thank you for everything. We love you very much and will see you in a few weeks.
If it were possible to add more hours in a day, we would have done that today. It was our last day here at Bass Lake with Grandpa Jack and Grandma Ginny. We did fill it with some very fun moments…
