Can't we start this day over?

If it were possible to have this day as a "do-over", I would do it in a second. It was a terrible, horrible, no go very bad day (a definite children's book to read, if you haven't, one of my favorites). I am also sure that this day will sound like a Country song to most, it would be a hit that is for sure. This was defiantly a so not "me" day!!!
As Bryce and I began our day of errands, I checked the diaper bag to make sure that I had everything. Funny thing, or rather not so funny, my wallet was missing. I have been carrying it in there since I had Bryce. If I carried a purse that would just add one more thing to carry. Well, the last place that I can remember using it was several days ago at Victoria Gardens. So I call, Alan and he says he put it back in the diaper bag. Bryce and I began going through the car, the house, everywhere. I finally decided I needed to start calling the stores we visited at Victoria Gardens.

With all the luck in the world, the first place that I called had it. Praise the Lord!!! So Bryce and I drove out and picked it up (everything was still in it). We then made our way to Target to get a few things, while we were there I couldn't remember what we needed ...ugh!!! As we left, I told Bryce that we were going to go to Kohl's to look for some short sleeve t-shirts for me. Let's just make this story short...we parked at Kohl's (2 miles from home), I locked the doors, put the keys in the diaper bag and got Bryce out. The car next to me was really close, so I held the door and put Bryce on the other hip....yes, you guessed it, the door closed. With my cell phone, wallet, keys, diaper bag all locked inside. I wanted to die. There was nothing that I could do, I couldn't call anyone, because Bryce needed to be in her seat while we drove, plus my phone was in the car, and my AAA card was in my wallet in the locked car. There was only one option...walk. Thankfully, I love to walk, so with Bryce on my hip we made the journey home. Once we got home, it was how do we get in. The only way that I knew to get in was through the garage side door. So I placed Bryce against the fence, told her not to move, climbed the fence, opened the gate to get Bryce and we were in.

Now that we were home, I called Alan and told him about our day...he said" you are having a Andrea day"(sorry Ann). When Alan arrived home, Bryce was taking a nap and we couldn't take her to get my truck, because we needed her seat. So, as I have said before, I love walking. So I walked back to Kohl's with the spare set of keys and drove my truck home.

I am so beyond "THANKFUL" for an end to this terrible, horrible, no good very bad day!!! I need a vacation, good thing that we start on Thursday...Woohoo!!!
