Baking with Grandma Ginny

What a treat for all of this morning, Bryce baked scones with Grandma. It was her official first adventure really baking. Unfortunately, I didn't get to witness this great treat, I was getting ready for the day and came out to a wonderful smell. I know that this special adventure was cherished by them both, as it always will be. It is a great joy for a Grandma to share these special moments and teach wonderful life lessons to a grandchild. Thank you for doing this Grandma Ginny!

This afternoon, we went and had a yummy lunch, followed by a little walk to burn it off. We walked over the docks, that were sitting in mud. Really mud, the water was so low that they were really sitting in mud. The very end of the dock was all that was afloat. It was fun to see the interesting things in the very shallow water. We actually even found a perfectly great pair of very expensive Maui Jim sunglasses, how funny.

Bryce had a lot of fun putting acorns in a basket for Grandma, it kept her very busy.

Part of the lake that still has water in it.
Playing with the pine needles on the shores of the lake.
Walking on the dry lake bed with Grandpa back to the cabin.

Yet, another fun filled great day in Bass Lake.
