A Dream Come True...

...taking "OUR" child to the zoo.
Alan and I have enjoyed going to the San Diego Zoo many times together and always dreamed of taking "Our" child there. Well, that special day was today and we are ALL so happy to share it together. When we arrived at the Zoo, Bryce was not so sure about all of the people.

We decided to take Bryce to the Children's zoo first. We wanted to start her slow on all of these new animals. It was so funny to see her try to climb up Alan to get away from the goats.

This is a cute little sign outside the Kids zoo. I love them even if they are "BUGS"!!!

Bryce loved seeing the flamingo's including the babies (they are the grey ones)...

...and the fish.

We then stopped for lunch and Bryce decided that she was going to look at the map to see where we we're going to next.

The Elephants where the next stop on our journey. Bryce really loved to see them for the first time. One was scooping up dirt and blowing it on his back with his trunk to cool off, Bryce had a good laugh at this sight.

And then the little Princess fell asleep. Bryce needed to take a little nap and so she missed the Giraffe's, (we were so sad), but it is what she needed.

We then headed for our hotel so that Bryce could get a good nap, but that is not what she had in mind. So we cleaned up and headed to Sea Port Village. Bryce loved seeing all the carriages with horses lined up to take people for rides around the bay.

We went to dinner at the Chart House, Bryce loves the restaurants that have crayons for her. Little does she know that Mommy always has a back up set in her bag.

Thanks Daddy for the wonderful day!!! I love you!!!
