All in A Day

This morning I was cleaning the kitchen and decided to let Bryce play in the pantry. As I turned around this is what I saw. Don't you wish that your little buns would fit on a few cans of tuna, I do.

Someone took 2 naps today, 2 great naps. I can't remember the last time that she had 2 naps. Alan and I were able to get a lot of things done in the yard and it was wonderful. I can tell that Bryce is defiantly a "happier camper" now that she has caught up on some sleep.
Hummingbirds everywhere...zoom, zoom, zoom, we love it. When you sit outside on the patio at night, it's like star wars. They just come by and buzz you and then chase each other. We have had 5 on one feeder all at the same time. But we are sure going through the food. Bryce and I have been making food for the 5 different feeders every other day. The little pigs that they are.
My little helper

There was a very sad moment at least for me today, besides whacking my head on the hanging planter and giving myself a knot on my head. I have had this Ficus tree in my life since I was in elementary school. I have moved it with me to all my homes and cared for it like a great friend. Well when we moved to this house, I decided that we should plant him right outside Bryce's window. So in March, Grandpa Ken and Alan planted it together, I was so excited. Then the frost hit and it hit hard. Alan's Ficus (I bought it for him when we first got married) started showing signs of trauma, then mine did. I will admit I cried. We cut it back to see what would happen and even talked to a guy at the nursery. Then we kept waiting and nothing. It was gone. So as Alan and I are redoing the rock garden it is time for it to come out.

Good Bye My Friend!!!
