I really think that one of the saddest things about being a parent is when your child is sick. They really don't know what they want and you try so hard to meet their every need, but is it what they want? I hate when Bryce is sick, but thankfully she has been a very healthy child lately. I am not surprised that she has gotten sick with all the stress we have been under and with me having a very similar bug the last two weeks, it was a given. What I pray for is that she gets better quickly, and that she transitions quickly to staying here at Papa Jack's and Grandma Ginny's. What I also pray for is that Bryce knows (I am sure she does) that she is loved, safe and she will have her own room very soon. Say your prayers for us, we are having a hard time being back here. Not that we don't love where we are, but knowing and feeling what we have lost is weighing heavy on our hearts being back in the area. While we were in Tacoma, we didn't feel any of this, it was a far away place. But being back, so close, the emotions are over whelming.
Even with a cold, there was no stopping Bryce from enjoying all of Grandma Ginny's craft stuff. The paints were what she wanted the most, she couldn't wait. After a great nap, that is what she wanted to get her hands on and of course, that is what we did. Thanks for having this great stuff Grandma Ginny.
Did we tell you that we miss our dogs? I have been told that I would be sad for a few days, because they drove me crazy and that would be that. But, that is not the story, I miss them terribly.
