We are so thankful for this day in so many ways. But let me tell you when the alarm goes off at 3:45 am, it makes you think twice. But without even a second though, Alan sprang out of bed to get ready for his first day of work. As I locked the door behind him at 4:15, I prayed that this was the job for him, a place that he felt that he was contributing and making a difference.
As he arrived home I heard the great news, he loves his job. What a blessing and another thing to be thankful for.
When Bryce awoke from her nap, she was so excited to see her Daddy. She misses him, when he is working and not with us all day. Alan was sure to fix that, so he and Bryce shared some quiet time together. Their idea of alone time today was cracking shells and eating peanuts while looking at the lake. It was their time and I know that they both enjoyed it.
