Daddy's Birthday

Let the celebrating begin....
We started celebrating Alan's birthday last night with Grandma Midge. She took us to Cask n Cleaver for a wonderful dinner. Thank you so much for dinner and the unnecessary gifts. We loved sharing the celebrating with you, it was very special.
Today, is officially Alan's 43rd birthday!!! He had to go to his new job this morning very early to fill out some paper work, so there was really no time for birthday breakfast. But when he came home, we headed to the market to buy stuff for Steak Kabobs for tonight. While we were there, we ran into Grandma Midge, what a treat to run into family at the market. Then we went to a yummy lunch at BJ's...oh so good.
As the afternoon arrived, Alan's cell phone rang. It was his new job, he has to be in Los Angeles, at 6:00 in the morning. I guess we will all be on a different schedule now. We are so proud of him and pray that he loves his new job.
There are never enough Birthday kisses for Daddy!!!

I can read what this box says, can you? I don't think that UPS did! The door bell rang this afternoon and as I opened the door, I found this very traveled box which read, Do not Drop! Fragile! As I looked at this box I immediately said " Oh no, not again!" The last several times that Dad and Cat have sent things that were fragile, they were in a million pieces.
But, because I am sure they are holding their breath as they read this, I will not keep them wondering anymore....It is all fine and so lovely. Thanks so much for the wonderful birthday present for Alan and I. You really didn't need to do that.
Happy Birthday Alan!!!
We Love You!
