There is no greater quality... than to be a giver. When Bryce awoke this morning, that is just what she started with, giving. Giving love to her little doll. There was not one care, that little baby had that was not taken care of. Bryce took care of it, before she even thought of it. What a true, future mother.
Have you seen my curls lately. I did add a special touch after my bath this morning, peach juice. Momma says I need another bath, she thinks that my hair is crunchy. I don't care.

After taking care of baby, it was building time. How high could we make that tower? We succeeded, it was taller than Bryce. I think the greatest part was knocking it down.
After Daddy came home from work, it was time to go to the park as promised. Not one park, but two. We played for awhile at Heritage park, even taking a few minutes to feed the squirrels. Then a very short walk later and we were at Oak Mesa Park. Both had so many wonderful moments to be had by Bryce and she soaked them up.

Nature Center
There is so many changes coming our way, so we are trying to take a little time each day for fun. Today, we started the day with all of us sleeping in, it was broken sleep, but so needed. We decided to make it a day for our little family, just being together, have some family time. As we made our way from home, we started with a yummy breakfast from Roady's, a good ole' Mom and Pop place in the heart of downtown San Dimas. It was perfect and so were the biscuits and gravy (Sorry Wamma, I had a bite for you).
Then we headed off to the Nature Center in San Dimas. It has really changed over the years, I think that they just need more volunteers and donations. Never the less, we all enjoyed that little time with nature.

New Dolly
Boxes, boxes, and more boxes, paper, tape, and more boxes- every where! We needed to get more boxes today with all the packing that I have been doing. We even took a few moments to look at houses. We did run into one very funny situation today, while looking at houses. That would be that we looked at a house in Glendora, it was the first house that Alan's parents bought when they were first married. It came on the market this week, how weird would that be?
After that it was time for a little trip to Target... and well a new addition to our home. Bryce came across this dolly that started talking to her as she passed by (she is on a sensor). Well, that did it, Bryce carried her all through Target. When it was time to check out with those big blue eyes, blinking and batting her eyelashes, Bryce looked up at Alan and said "I have this?", "I love her." That is all that it took, and the little baby joined our family.
Bryce has a tradition lately of wanting to watch "Little Bill" a show by Bill Cosby each night. It only last for 20 minutes and it helps her wind down. Tonight, she shared that tradition with her new dolly. Then it was time for story time, where Alan read a great book " I used to be rich last Sunday". He laughed all the way through it. We love Alexander!!!
Here is you choochie little love
You take my picture, I take your picture. I sure hope Bryce loves talking pictures as much as I do.
This doll that Bryce has named,"dolly" has 4 setting on her. She is quiet, she is on a timer, she talks to you and moves, or she just moves. It is a very funny little doll, but what a connection Bryce has made with her. She has already taken her out to dinner and out to breakfast, a great addition to our family.

Taking a Break!!!
What a day! Yesterday we had to cancel some wonderful time with cousin Bethany, do to some sick babies (Bryce and Charlie). There is no way that I want other little ones to get sick. I know how horrible it is. Well, after cancelling with Beth, knowing that I was going to have a sick Charlie today, the phone rang very early this morning and well, no Charlie. Poor little Greysen had come down with a earache. I knew that Bryce was going to be disappointed, so I told her I would call Grandma Ginny. I wanted to see if she wanted to play, just even for a little while. Well, that was not an option, Grandma Ginny is sick too. I can't even describe to you the sad little face on Bryce. No one to play. Well, I was going to make that all better. I am the super Mom or so I try.
Well, I decided with all the stress and transition that has been going on around her, even with a runny nose I would take Bryce to the park. What a wonderful idea that was!!! She had a wonderful time. I think that we will even do it again tomorrow. Happy times for a transitioning little one, make for a happy little one.
