The Independence of Bryce the last few weeks has surprised us. She is wanting to do more and more on her own. We love that she is being able to do for herself and help out. It is a great quality to have, but there are times that I want her to just let me do it for her. What I mean, is when it comes to bed time, I want to love on her and do all the Mommy things to get her into bed. Well, that has changed, and it looks like there is no turning back. The last few nights as we have put Bryce in her bed and done all the rituals, she pops up and says "light". We tell her we will get the light and she says, " no Bryce, light". Then she proceeded to climb out of her bed and turn out the light. Then she climbs back in her bed and says," door". Well, I think you get the picture.
Tonight, she pushed Alan and I out of her room and closed the door. As any normal child would do, they would start playing open and close with the door. That would not describe Bryce, she climbs in her bed and goes straight to sleep. What a good girl!!! 
Poor little love! Bryce was trying on necklaces at the mall today and a tag decided to pick a fight. It sure looks like the necklace won.
