The Train Store

What do you do when you promise something and that promise can't come true? You try to fix it in the best way that you know how. That is what we had to do today. We kept telling Bryce that we were taking her and Wamma to ride the train at Victoria Gardens. Well, as we arrived the winds were crazy and I don't mean a little crazy. You could barely keep your feet on the ground at times.

So we had to start thinking, quickly. As we enjoyed a yummy, birthday lunch with Wampa and Wamma, Bryce kept saying, "Choo choo." When we were done with lunch we did find out that the train was not running. We then came up with 2 options to fix our broken promise, one was the trolley and the second was the Thomas Train Store. I know that Bryce is only 21 months old, but I didn't want to crush her little spirit.

So we all decided to go to the Train Store...it was perfect. Bryce and Wamma had a wonderful time playing with all the little trains that they had set out. All in all it ended up being a happy time, even though they didn't get to ride the train.

As, Wamma and Wampa passed the window of Pottery Barn, this is what they saw. A beautifully set table with place cards. The funny part about it is, it was Alan and I's name. They were right next to each other and spelled just how we spell them. How weird is that. So, as usual I had to take pictures.

Happy Birthday Wamma!!! We Love you!
