A Special Visit

This afternoon we had a wonderful surprise, Becky, Ethan and Evan came by for a little visit. We knew that they were coming down this weekend, but we were their first stop. It was so wonderful to see them and let the kids get a little play time in together. I am positive that there will be more of this special time as the weekend unfolds.

Ethan truly loves his cousin Bryce as she does in return.
Bryce and I have been working on new words this week. The words this week that she said on her own was, "please". It comes out with a lisp and some extra "eeee's", but I love the way that she says it. In this video and mind you this is the first one that I have figured out how to share, it is not too clear, but you get the point. We have also been working on counting. If I say one, she says two...this is going to be a smart little cookie. Which will come in handy when she has to take care of her Dad and I.
I and several people have tried to help us put video on the computer, but I guess our video camera is too old (5yrs), so I pulled out Alan's digital camera and life is good. Technology!!!

On a fun note, I spoke with a dear friend this afternoon that I have not spoken with in over 15 years. He is an amazing person and doing such great things with his life. He has survived cancer twice and has been in remission now for 14 years. With all that he has overcome, he is now a huge believer in giving back. Scott is on the board for a wonderful foundation named the Red Wagon Foundation, where they help raise funds for children and their families in need. You Go Scott!!! It was so wonderful to talk to you today and I look forward to our next chat.
