Father's Day!!!

Today is Father's Day and I am very THANKFUL for all the Dad's and, the Dad's at Heart in our lives. This is a picture of Bryce and Alan last year on his first Father's Day. What a perfect moment. I even remember the framed poem I gave Alan with a picture of Bryce.

You dreamed about me your whole life.

You waited patiently till God knew the time was right.

Now here I am your little girl, the one you hold so dear.

As you watch me grow and teach me the way, my love for you will never change-it will grow deeper with each passing day.

There is more but I won't bore you with that. It was so fun to write that for Alan. I am very THANKFUL that he is such a wonderful Father to our daughter.

...and this is today. Bryce woke at 6:00 this morning and was ready to play. We took Daddy down to another yummy breakfast and now I am trying to give Bryce a nap. There is a key word in there "trying", she has not given in yet, she is not crying or fussing, just not sleeping (yet). Alan is enjoying some time down stairs for a little while. We hope that he will hit it big and we can go on a permanent vacation. That would be so nice.
