It seems that each day there are more and more bruises on Brycie, everywhere, including those cute little buns. I hate seeing them on her, but I know its because she is experiencing life. She is a fearless, curious, go go go, busy little person.

Ketchup
There was one thing that Bryce and I really had to get done today, besides our walk. That was that we needed to go buy new tires for the Suburban. So we got in the car and I called Alan to see where he was at. Luckily he was at his shop and so we drove over there and decided that he should come with us (not that I couldn't have done it myself, we just wanted to spend time with him). So we headed off to Tucker Tire, where we then left the truck to get new tires. Bryce, Alan and I walked down the street to Northwoods Inn for lunch. So yummy!!!
Bryce had her first taste of ketchup on fries. Her initial face was one of "I am not so sure about this stuff", but then she changed her mind. She got ketchup up her arms, in her hair and on her shirt. It was great. We also had a fun memory while we were there too. It was 5 years ago, this last week, we bought our Suburban and had to get new rims for it (of course, so a boy thing). Well, I was watching Greysen for the day and we did the same exact thing with him. So funny!!! I love memories like that and to know that we would be doing it again with our own child. Precious!!!
There is ketchup there and there and there...

Watering
Well Grandpa and Grandma are away, we are helping out with the watering. Bryce was ready to be a very big help with her own watering can. I love that she is so eager to help and be involved with everything.

New Words
Someone decided that this is the proper way to eat her lunch today. We are going to have to work on this.

Journey Bird
Tweet, tweet... Bryce and Journey has a great little chat this afternoon. Alan was hanging our new valances in the den and so Journey needed to be moved from her table. Bryce loved that, Journey on her level. She checked out all her toys and then had a great conversation with her. She even checked her food and water, as I do each morning.
Bryce is a very observant little one and very OCD. On Friday night she found a bath toy in her baby's diaper bag and immediately had to take it to the bathroom to put it away. Then she found a circle and nipple in the bag, that then was also put away. Everything has its place,- I am beginning to see what a "freak" I am through my daughter. UGH!!!

A Little Confused
Several times yesterday as well as today Bryce has knocked on the guest room door, otherwise known as Wampa and Wamma's room. I think that she is confused at their several short visits the last few weeks. She would wake up and they are here and go to sleep and they would be gone. I don't blame her for being confused. She loves her time with them. We are going to make sure that she has some quality lengthy time with them very soon.

Grandpa's Lap
We are feeling so lucky today. We got a surprise 24 hour visit from Grandpa Ken. He is here on business, but making time to share his lap. Bryce was so eager to get him on the floor to read books. That is one of life's greatest moment, sitting in grandpa's lap, reading books or hearing stories about the old days. I remember those moments as a child and I will always cherish them.
Thanks for taking the time Grandpa Ken.

Coloring
What could be more fun? I decided that since Bryce is 17 months old today that we should try something new. So I got out some coloring books and a big box of crayons. She has always enjoyed coloring at restaurants, but we have never done it at home.
We had such a fun time sharing this new experience together. Bryce really enjoyed taking out all the crayons out of the box and then putting them all back in, all 128 of them. That would be the "everything has its place" part of her little brain or maybe what I have taught her. LOL!!!
