Sleep

This morning as I was looking out the back door...this is what I saw. I was so excited to see this beautiful sight. When we were looking at this house last year, these Irises were in bloom and I was so excited to think that they would one day be mine, and in my backyard. It is so hard to believe that we have lived here for 11 months already. It seems as if time is going by quicker these days. Maybe it's because I am so busy with a very active little one.

It seems that all that Bryce wanted to do today was sleep. We had a rough night last night and we were up more than down. So I am not surprised that she needs sleep. It is also the best thing for her right now. She won't drink water today, but she did have two 5oz. bottles of milk. That is the most that she has had in days. Alan is sick with a cold now too. I refuse to get sick...we are going on vacation in less than 2 weeks and I want to enjoy it.

I wanted to try to get Bryce to eat something today, so for a distraction I put her on the patio. She really loved being outside, but didn't want to eat. She only had a few bites and then just wanted to go back to bed. I wish so much that I could do anything to make her feel better in an instant.
