My lipgloss.... The last few morning, Bryce has wanted to do make up. She has wanted to do this before but it really was no big deal, she used her play make up. But now, it is a big funny deal, she want the real thing. So, I give her clear lip gloss... she puts it on her lips or so attempts and then takes the washcloth to wash it off. Over and over again, thank goodness lip gloss is cheap. Enjoy the fun for now little one.
Once we were all ready for the day, it was time to hit the road. We love this because it is so beautiful up here and everything is so green. One of our stops was to North Bend, they have a great outlet mall. For months, Bryce has been asking to see the horses, pet horses, ride a horse, who knew we could accomplished that in the parking lot of the mall. The only thing was, she didn't get to pet the horse, he was a little cranky. The other part was it was not a real horse she got to ride. (video at the end of the post)
Another funny sight was this...Looks like someone is going to make a run for it, in style.
On our adventure today, we came across these great pink boots. Well, they were a must have said Grandpa. So he bought them for his little princess. Bryce has been helping Grandpa Ken with a lot of chores and the boots were going to come in handy while she watered and stomped in the puddles she made. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma.
Helping Grandpa plant the flowers in her new boots
After dinner tonight, Bryce decided that Grandpa needed a little decorating...with stickers. What a great sport he was.
Then it was Bryce's turn, silly fun!
We were rather shocked that Bryce wanted to go on this. We have tried and tried, but it was always a "no". That was until today, and she loved it. Bryce is trying many new things and it is so wonderful to be apart of these moments.

Swinging

We wanted another cozy day and that is just what we had. But we of course made time to take Bryce to the park. It was just the right size for her and she had a wonderful time. The greatest part, she wanted to swing. Swinging is such a care free thing, a wonderful escape. There was something about these supported swings that she felt safe, and we love that she wanted to to try swinging again. There were race's with Grandma
Time for Daddy to share in the fun! What cute teeter totters. Bryce had never seen one, and that is why she was not sure about them. Needless to say, Grandma Cathy and Daddy had a great time on them. Bryce was so beyond cute, she wanted to catch Daddy. All of the sudden Bryce said," I catch you Daddy, you go down the slide." That is just what she did too, or so that is what the objective was. It was so cute to watch.

Bubble Wars

What a great day, just what we needed. We spent the morning with Bryce having a little nap (not something that she has done in over a year) and then it was time to play. We feed the squirrels, watched the birds, enjoyed watching the boats pass on the Puget Sound and then it was time for war. Bryce and Alan enjoyed a wonderful time of laughter and bubbles. They had a bubble war, and it was so funny to watch. The laughter was so contagious- something that we all needed!!!

Visiting Grandpa's work

This morning we had a fun little outing to Grandpa Ken's work, World Vision. We met him to attend chapel, what an awesome, very straight forward, hitting every moment of our life's right now message. It was wonderful and I am taking it to heart. After that we enjoyed a yummy Chinese lunch, then Grandpa had to go back to work.

Bryce watched Grandpa pull out of the driveway this morning and as she woke from her nap, that is what she wanted to do. She knew he was coming home soon. The screams, "Pa's home, Pa's home", so precious!

After Grandpa Ken got cozy from his work clothes and Bryce bundled, it was time to feed the birds and squirrels. There really was no need for that hat, but Bryce loves it and that is all that matters.
Helping Wamma Cathy make Roasted Asparagus with a Brown Butter Sauce. Great job adding just the right amount of kosher salt little one. It was so yummy! Who is going to fall asleep first? Happy Birthday Ethan!

Our Little Flyer

Time to travel!!! Grandma Ginny took us to the airport this morning, what a treat. We have never had anyone take us to the airport (many have offered), but today, since we are going to be gone for 15 days, we took up that offer (saves a ton of money). We needed to be at the airport early because we did not have confirmed seats. We tried to do the web check in, but it showed 300 people had already selected their seats and we had 3 to choose from, mind you it was 3 not even close together. Well, we didn't need to worry, that was all settled, we were all in the same row. Since we had so much time left to wait, we went to get breakfast...for Brcye that was melon. A great start to another transition.... How cute is she, our little flyer. Her pack pack and all!
After a great flight and a very perfect little one being stuck for 2.5 hours it was time for play.Come on Pa Ken, you play bubbles with me!?! There was fun everywhere to be had and the bubbles. The colors that sparked off them in the sun, so beautiful! Bubbles, bubbles
Helping Pa Ken feed the birds
Thanks so much for having us Grandpa Ken and Grandma Cathy!
