If at first you don't succeed, try try again. Well, that is Bryce when she is playing with her puzzle books. She is a pro now and I love watching her try to put those pieces in. Even if she has to sit on the book, make a funny face, she stays determined and gets it put together. Good job Boogaboo!

Happy or Scared
Who invented balloons? Was this person a father, was this person a freak? No matter, they bring happiness to most and a few sad moments too some. I really hate when a balloon pops on a little one. They were just looking at a happy moment and enjoying this round circle full of air, then pop...their little happy time is gone, and the tears begin.
This afternoon, we took Grandma Midge to get a new family member. A yellow canary, a special friend to love. We had a wonderful time this afternoon helping get Grandma Midge a new bird. Bryce even decided that his name should be "Boo". I am not sure that is what his name will be , but good try little one.
When I told Bryce we were going to help Grandma Midge get a new bird today, Bryce said, Green bird...Charlotte, blue bird. Bryce was trying to tell us that she needed a green bird (which she already has, Journey.) and that Charlotte needed a blue bird.
After we put Grandma Midge's bird in his new home, it was time for lunch. There is no better place to share a burger these days than at Red Robin. We had a wonderful time and Bryce loved taking home her balloon.....
...just don't pop on my babies face...please! We all had a great lunch and then it was time for naps for all...

My Turn, My Turn
When Bryce awoke from her nap this afternoon, she said "what's that?"(her new phrase). I told her it was Daddy working in the yard and she said, "lawn mower, my turn, my turn".
Hey Daddy...I'm awake, my turn, my turn.

A Day of Smiles
I was then able to go spend some uninterrupted quality time with my Momma. A day that we have wanted for so long, just us. It was simply perfect down to each last detail. We had a wonderful divine salad with Lemon tea and then a Pear Tart. Oh was it so yummy! Then something that I have wanted to do for so very long....a game of scrabble. Yes, in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day...no where else to be. The greatest part too, was that I won. Only by a very few points, but I won (that one was for Grandpa and Grandma).
After the perfect afternoon with Momma, it was a wonderful evening with Alan. We shared our favorite meal and it was perfect as always.
...then we Wii'd. Yes, we are the proud new owners of a Wii. Come on over, I love the bowling so much.
Bryce is officially bottle free tonight, I never thought that was going to happen. Just like I never thought that she would take a bottle. She started taking the bottle at 8 months and now she is leaving it in the past at 26 months. Yahoo!!! I am sad but proud!
The grown up part of this or more the part that she really takes after her Mother is, she has to wash the bottle when she is done. This is her final bottle washing, tomorrow we will be on to the new big girl cups. I love that she wants to pitch in and help with the dish washing. I know that she will (hopefully) keep this great quality when she is grown.

A Full Day!
I told Bryce that Charlie was coming today, she immediately hide her Easter bucket. I tried to explain that we need to share, but I think that is a lesson that we need to work on.
When Charlie arrived, there was no time to waste. They both went for the bikes and said that they were going to Target...funny girls. Bryce thought that her dress smelled so pretty with the flowers on it, that she wanted to have Charlie smell it. I am so glad that Bryce has learned to take time for the little things in life, like stopping to smell the flowers.
Come on cousin, I will push you...wheeeee!!!
Are you awake Charlie?
The happy little bike rider with her new helmet.
What a wonderful day...we even had an unexpected visit from Wampa Ken and Wamma Cathy. They shared a yummy lunch with us, some story time, a few hundred kisses and hugs, then they were off. What a special treat! Thanks for taking the time, I know we all loved it!
It must be watermelon season, someone has a RED Face. I love that sticky, icky, little kissable face...all of it.
