Can you say "Watermelon"

We so enjoyed our stay, but it is time to go. We would love to come back here that is for sure. We heard a Bear this morning, we are glad that we heard him , rather than see him.

All of the railroad cars are rooms too stay, how cute is that. We loved our stay.

After a wonderful breakfast, we were in the car for a total of 4 minutes and we'll, nightly night.

Beginning of Our Journey

Our vacation, adventure time has finally arrived. The alarms went off and it was time to go. We kissed Uncle Stevie and he headed on his way to San Luis Obispo, and we were not far behind him getting on the road. We officially left our house at 6:00 a.m. for a very long car ride. Bryce was a very amazing little trooper over a 12 hour day in the car. Not one tear was shed and there was many laughs. She started very early this morning with singing to us and just screaming funny things in the microphone. Silly girl!!! I am so proud of how good she was. I was so nervous for this trip. She is a go go go girl, can't sit still, has too much to do girl like her Mom, but she handled it like a champ.

Getting the wiggles out at a rest stop near Lake Shasta.
Stopping for the night...YEAH!!! We are at Railroad Park Resort, just outside of Dunsmuir, Ca.
Happy Camper!!!

Such a Wonderful Day

We were so lucky to be able to have Steven, Becky and Evan (Ethan is with Grandma Barbara) spend the night last night. They were so tired after the full day of loading the truck. Both Evan and Bryce decided to wake at 6:00 this morning. There was no stopping these two, they shared everything together. It is so fun to have this special time.

They headed off to Santa Maria, where there storage unit is. There are no homes, storage units, campgrounds, or hotels available in San Luis Obispo. They have a big search ahead of them, not that they have not already been searching so hard.
They are having dinner with Uncle Norman and then headed back here for the night. They will then begin their journey tomorrow back up to San Luis Obispo. Pray that they have safe travels once again and to find the perfect home for all of them.
Kissing Cousins
Love, love
Evan do you see my dogs?
This morning Charlotte came to play for a few hours. We had a wonderful time. The girls were into everything. Bryce was so tired after Charlotte left that she slept for 4 hours straight. Yeah for Bryce and Me. There is so much to get done before we leave on Thursday morning for our vacation.
I am so glad that it is more than 13 years before Bryce can drive, specially if she drive like this. Go Charlie
Go Brycie

The Kayak

I can't tell you just how absolutely beautiful this Kayak that Steven is building is. It is so amazing, that boy has some wonderful talents.
These pictures really in no way do it justice. Steven has been working very hard on it while, packing and getting ready to move.
I know that Uncle Norman is going to love it.
