Little Helper

Bryce was very attentive to Preston this morning, like a little mom. We went on a walk and they both had jackets on, but when we got home I took them off. Well Bryce just kept pulling Preston's off the couch and trying to put his back on him. My little mother hen!!!
At lunch, they both just talked and talked to each other, I think that they did more talking than eating. I really wish I knew what they were saying.

And now they are both sleeping...YEAH!!!

Bryce found these necklaces in the playhouse yesterday and now they are on all the time. I think she thinks they go with all her outfits. It is so cute to see her want to play dress up already!!!

This is last night when Bryce found the necklaces and paraded around the backyard in them.

The Jog-a-thon

The jog-a-thon is here. YEAH!!! I was so excited about this event this morning that I was shaking. Alan and Bryce came to see me off. Bryce loved the freedom that is for sure. Once we were underway she started walking on the track, so when I got close I swooped her up and carried her for a lap. Then Alan took her home for lunch and a nap. It was a great day. To my surprise, I was able to do 33 laps, that equals to 8 1/4 miles. Go SIYA!!! When I was done my legs wanted to fall off. But I did it for a great cause and I couldn't have done it without the support of all of you. THANK YOU!!!!

Daddy's Little Helper

Someone woke up very early this morning, so we decided to get to work. Alan was putting sprinklers in a planter and Bryce decided that she was going to help dig.

What's next Daddy?

We have to go under the sidewalk? Are you sure?

What was that? I am going to hide right here.

I think I got it!

Look what I found.

This afternoon Austin came over to put music on the MP3 player for me for my walk tomorrow. So in the mean time the girls had some play time and so did Greysen . They were everywhere and it was so fun to watch. I love that the girls are so close in age, and like most of the same things.

Little girls, little girls...everywhere I eat, sleep and dream them. (from Annie, for you sister)

Tonight Steven,Becky, Ethan and Evan came over for a few minutes and the kids had a good time playing. After they went home, we went on the patio to watch the birds and BBQ. Bryce had a great time walking out of her shoes (lol) and playing with Daddy's hat.

Wearing Daddy's hat....so cute!!!

Today is a special day for us...we have lived in our new home for 1 year and 12 years ago tonight Alan told me that he loved me for the first time as we left the George Strait concert. That is where "our song" came from "I Cross My Heart".
I love you Bubba!!!
Happy Birthday Aunt Kellie
We Love You So Much!!!!
Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you Brown Family!!!

A new friend...

Starting this morning, and for the next 2 weeks Bryce and I are going to be watching Preston. He is our friends, Eric and Harmonie Reddings 2nd son. They have another son Tyson, that is such a sweetie too.
Thanks to this wonderful stroller, we were able to go on our walk this morning and keep me on schedule for the jog-a-thon on Sunday afternoon. Bryce kept looking back at Preston and smiling. I think that she really enjoyed having him with us.
I know that she really enjoyed having some of the "baby" things out again. She made herself very comfy in her old bouncer. It was so funny to see her in it now and then picturing what she used to look like in it soooo long ago brought a smile to my face.

Preston loved to swing in the backyard while Bryce was taking a nap. He is such a happy guy!!!

They shared a lot of time playing together on the floor. Bryce was always making sure that Preston had a toy.

They even shared a few kisses....

Preston loved to pat Bryce on the face. They were so cute interacting together.

Too Precious...

Today was such a fun play day for Bryce. This morning she was able to have play time with Evan and then this afternoon there was play time with Charlotte. What a perfect day in the eyes of a very active child.

Here fishy fishy..

Our day began just as it did yesterday...off to the nursery. We bought 15 red day lilies yesterday and today we went back for 8 more red and 8 yellow. Our backyard is going to be so beautiful when there are all in bloom. At this nursery they have several ponds through out the grounds. They are all so pretty and fun to look at. The biggest one has turtles every where and very hungry Koi fish. Bryce and I had fun feeding them.

This afternoon we were working in the backyard again and of course Bryce wants to always help. She picked up these branches and decided to pull each leaf off one at a time. Her version of helping-making more of a mess. But it was still fun to watch the concentration on her face.
