Getting so Big

Well, guess who can climb up on the bar stools without any help...our little monkey. She is so proud of herself for this. Now it's time to watch out what we put on the counter, like this pen.Bryce was so excited to hear the door bell ring this morning, we opened it up and there was Aunt Becky, Ethan and Evan. What a wonderful time they were all going to have. Bryce enjoyed sharing her books with Evan.

...then it was time for lunch...eat up little ones. Right after lunch, Evan walked almost all the way across the room. How wonderful it was to share that "first" little moments. You know they only happen once and it goes by so quickly.

Have you seen my curls lately? It seems that when I get up from a nap that they are sooo curly. I sure hope that when I am older that I have easy hair like this.

~~~~~~~~~
Please say your Prayers for all 3 of my Grandparents (Grandpa Jack Churchill and Mr. and Mrs. Louis and Dorothy Holbrook)...They have all lived fulfilled, ambitious lives and followed the path of the Lord throughout...but it seems that He is getting ready to call them all home very soon. Grandpa Louie had a burst appendix yesterday and had surgery, he is 89, turning 90 in September. All seems to be well now. But please pray for their comfort as well as for all that care for them daily. They all are true servants of God and a blessing to all of us.
We Love You ALL!!!
Raining
Rainy
What a great treat, to wake up with it raining outside. We love to watch the rain and so that is how all 3 of us began our morning. We got cups of coffee, a bottle for Bryce and then we all sat on the floor in front of the slider. It doesn't get better than that. With the wonderful rain, that means it's play time inside. Rumm, rumm, bike time.
As of late yesterday afternoon, I finished the rock garden with the help of Alan. Thanks Bubba!!! The rocks are back in the garden, the new fountain is flowing and the furniture looks inviting. This morning, I felt my blood boil as I saw Sage in the garden, GRRRRRRR.....that dog makes me so MAD. She was digging a whole and tearing the ground tarp that we put under the rocks, while pulling out a Day Lillie and making a muddy mess too.
The finished project...
and what Sage did, anyone want a dog?
Shoes
What could be better than getting new shoes, how about 2 pair of new shoes. We had to take the white sandals back to Nordstrom's that we bought for Bryce just a few weeks ago. They made her cry and she didn't want to walk in them. We were not going to have that at all. I replaced them already just a few weeks ago with our favorite, See Kai Runs brand and she loves them.
These are the new white sandals that Bryce's loves.
These are the 2 new pair of shoes that Bryce got today. We fell in love with the pink ones, but came across the red pair and well, they will be perfect for out trip to Yellowstone. Plus, they are so cute. The salesman at Nordstrom's was so great, Bryce loved sitting down and trying on all the shoes. She even took the time to rearrange a few pair of shoes for them.
Now let me tell you about this pair of shoes...SkunkTHEY STINK!!! We bought them for Bryce for water play and well, THEY STINK. When she is in the water, they are wonderful. But when they dry, they change the mood of a room quickly, THEY STINK!!!
Our morning started with a wonderful trip to the new Bass Pro Shop, we are so excited that it has opened up. We even called Grandpa Ken to rub it in.
Daddy needed to get a few things for fly fishing while we are on vacation and well Bryce and I just wanted to shop. I got a very cute pair of camo pants and can't wait to wear them. Daddy also found the several things that he needed for fly fishing, that would also include this very cute hat to wear while he is fly fishing.
What a Horrible hair day....but that is Me and My Girl!!!
This afternoon we went and picked up the fountain to go in the rock garden. How fun and I can't wait to just sit and enjoy listening to it. Now that it is in place, I can get the rest of the rocks laid to complete the garden. It will be so great to get that done, this has been a tedious project, but well worth it.
18 Months Old
Sometimes I just wish that we could make time stand still. Then we could take a few extra moments to savor special events in life and really soak them up.One of the most important and specials days of my life was 18 months ago today. It is so hard to even believe it. Our Miracle...is 18 months old already. Where did all that time go? It has gone by so fast being busy with this little one that is for sure. I love being Bryce's Mommy and I feel so blessed to have her.
My Sweet Little Girl!!!
Let's play football!!!
Tomato Picking
We have been looking at the tomato plants everyday for the last few days, in anticipation of some very close and almost ready to pick perfect tomatoes. As Bryce and I went out there this afternoon, it was time. She was so excited and I was excited to share this with her. The other day she wanted to start picking the green ones. Bryce loves to eat tomatoes so much, and that is a wonderful thing. I am so glad that I get to show Bryce the whole wonderful adventure of growing tomatoes and then letting her pick them to eat. I love the simple life!!!
Let's get started picking Mom, I have the basket.
Mom, look at all the tomatoes that I picked.
Let's put them all in the basket to take them in the house.
I LOVE TOMATOES!!!
A Wonderful Day!!!
What a wonderful day!!! This morning Auntie Ann and Charlie came over to play with Bryce while I went to the Laundry mat. That was an experience let me tell you. I get there and fill 5 washers with clothes and soap. I then get my quarters out and then I look at the machine, there was no place for quarters. Where do I put the quarters? I then proceeded to read the machine, you have to buy a card to use the machines. Um, hello!!! What happened to the quarters? I wanted to die, I had no money on me and all our clothes are in the machines. So I notice another woman doing her laundry and asked if she would watch my clothes while I went to get some cash. I then went to the Von's next store, bought a bottle of water and got some cash. I am so glad to say the the laundry is done. YEAH!!!
Bryce had a great time playing with Auntie Ann and Charlie. I have not left Bryce since January. What a treat that was, but I do miss her when she is not by my side.
Color time!!! then Lunch...
To return the favor to Auntie Ann, Bryce and I were then able to have Greysen and Charlie for a little while this afternoon. I can't tell you how much fun these little girls had together. Greysen was engrossed in video games the whole time. I am going to have Charlotte 2 days a week starting in September while Ann teaches. We are all so excited about it. Bryce loves having a little playmate.
