Ouchie!

Can you say ouch? That and "oh my little love". Late yesterday afternoon, Bryce's eye started looking a little mucky. I knew that it looked like something that I had seen once before. When Bryce was a very little baby, just a few month old she had the same thing. She has an infection and we need to get ride of it fast. When she woke this morning, it looked better, I know what you are saying, but it does. Let's hope that we are on the right track. The best part about it is Bryce is still her happy little self, full of smiles and joy.
With all of these new necklaces, Bryce needed a special place to put them. I thought about it and decided that she was old enough for this special jewelry box from Aunt Marghy. Bryce was thrilled with having a special box to put her most precious belongings in. She placed them in and out of that box all day. When they were not in the box, they were all around her neck. What a girl! Happy Birthday Danny!
We Love you!

Our Day Out!

Well, when we have to be out of the house, we always go to our favorite place, Victoria Gardens. We started our day with a trip to Sears so that Alan could pick up a few tools for his new job. The wonderful thing about that was he has a gift card to use from Dad and Cat, Thank you! They will be put to much use, I am sure. We then had a gift certificate to Cheesecake Factory (Thanks Papa and Mom), so we decided to have lunch on the patio. We all had such a wonderful time eating yummy food and being out side. With traditions...that meant an adventure on the magical train. Bryce's starts saying," choochoo" as soon as we pull into Victoria Gardens. We are so glad that she has this special little treat after being dragged around all afternoon. Thanks for being such a great little girl Bryce, always.
Bye Bye Mom! Where will this adventure take us?
We did get an offer on our home today...we will be laughing about it for a very long time.

Prayers do come true!

Let me start by saying, I know that my blogs sometimes are all over the place. Those are times, when I should not even try to write. My brain is going a mile a minute, I am way beyond tired, and trying to put words down....a mistake. So for that bare with me.
On to our beyond GRATEFUL day!!! Bryce and I decided to go spend sometime with Grandma Ginny this morning. There was going to be many visits from potential buyers today (and as the day went by more calls came) and we did not want to be in the way. I asked Bryce if she wanted to go feed the ducks at Grandma's today and she screamed "I'm ready, I'm ready". Silly little girls was still in her sleeper, but she was excited and that made me so happy.
Well, Alan left early this morning on the job hunt adventure...
Bryce and I enjoyed spending some wonderful time with Grandma doing everything. We went down to the lake and made the swan even fatter. At least we feed her 7 grain bread that has to count for something. It was a beyond beautiful day and the lake just looked so beautiful. Then we all enjoyed a yummy lunch together and then nap time came. I knew that it was a better decision to stay at Grandma's then to try and go home to give Bryce a nap, I would just have to wake her up. So, we started with the telling Bryce what our plan was and then took action (she does so much better when you explain before hand). Well, to our surprise, Bryce went to sleep at Grandma's for the first time. YEAH!!! It was huge! The only problem was that she only slept for an hour, a police helicopter announcing a missing little girl woke her, we pray that little one was found. A short nap is better than no nap.
...then my cell phone rang. It was Alan...HE GOT A JOB!!! Holy Cow! We have been praying for this for so long and it is finally true. He starts on Tuesday, one day after his 43rd birthday!!! What a huge blessing this is and what a weight off of our shoulders this is. THANK YOU LORD!!! Now, we just need to sell our house. We had 5 groups look today and we are having an open house tomorrow. It would be the perfect weekend if it would sell, with Alan getting his new job. Say your prayers.

It's Raining!

Yesterday, I wanted to sleep in, and that did not happen. Then today, Bryce slept in to almost 9 this morning, go figure. (I so wanted to still be sleeping. but I had to get up early this morning to be ready for Charlie and the Real Estate Agent that was coming.) Then all at the same time this morning, Grandma Midge, Grandma Ginny and the Real Estate Guy showed....what a crowd. What a wonderful crowd to have...

What a busy morning, I was prepared, but not fully, with that there was 2 precious little ones, cleaning, feeding, laundry and more. Never enough to do.
I told Charlie and Bryce that more rain was going to come today. I told them to watch and we would see many wonderful moments today. They each grabbed a stool and hit the window, ready for the next rain drops to fall.

The girls were so cute today. Some days, it is like trying to separate monkeys and other days, it is the best. It was so cute to walk in Bryce's room and see them playing together, so sweet, so innocent, just being them. Then all of the sudden Bryce came out of her room saying, "hair cut, hair cut". She then went for the junk drawer for the scissors. Oh, NO!!! I was able to prevent a very scary sight. Can you imagine what Andrea would have done to me if Charlie was butchered?

Good job on sharing little ones... Sharing the Kitchen...Great job girls! The cute little chef Charlie!

Where is the rain?

Oh, how did I want to sleep in this morning...but for some odd reason Bryce had another idea. She has been such a great sleeper and most mornings sleeping in till 7:30 or so, but not today. I don't even think that the chickens wanted to be up, but it was 5:30 and we were up. It was time for milk, a whole outfit changing and a yummy (oh how I love my coffee) cup of wake me up. I do love the morning time, it means a new day, a day we get to help create, a day that is ours, a day that we are alive.
I told Bryce that it was going to rain later today, so we wanted to go have some play time outside. There was a bubble fest and laughter too. We then took a fun trip to Sams Club, where Bryce picked out a few new books and we stocked up on everything else.
While I was making lunch, I turned on the TV to distract a very tired little one, I know bad idea. But sometimes, it is necessary. Bryce saw a commercial for Tarzan and tried to copy him. It was so funny and then once again, the serious side of her kicked in...I know it was all the tiredness. Nap time was soon to come.
Well, where is the rain? The weather man never gets it right, oh well we love all the different changes to each day. We love the seasons, you must admit it is never boring.
As Alan was BBQ'ing our dinner (Chilean Sea Bass) and I was making Baby Bok Choy and Spinach and Crab stuffed Mushrooms (my own recipe), Bryce decided that there was more time for bubbles. Still there was no rain, we even put the cushions to the patio furniture away. At least we were prepared...it will probably show tonight. No matter, there was more laughter to be had and bubbles to be popped.
Guess who loves Chilean Sea Bass....yeah Bryce! A girl after my own heart!

Silly and Serious

As I reminded Bryce that Charlie was coming this morning and that Greysen would be here this afternoon, she grabbed her silly hat. Then the screams of joy began as she ran around the house screaming,"Charlie...scare me...get you!" What a silly little girl. The good thing is that they know what is funny and how to make each other laugh, as well as comfort each other in times of need. I tried to get some pictures of Bryce is this hat...but all of the sudden after the first shot, she became serious...something new. Oh well, I still really love these pictures of my future super model.
Bryce loved showing Charlie how to put the puzzles together...over and over again.
When Greysen arrived, he was very excited to start playing with the Wii. The girls decided that he was a great target, so they tried to get him. But he was not going to let that happen. He did take time away from the Wii and chased the girls all over the house, the laughter was contagious.
HAPPY APRIL!!!!
