Catching up!

As I try to get back into my routine, which is so much harder than I thought it would be, I find myself really looking at Bryce. I mean really looking at her. Since we found out this week that we lost our littest one, it makes it even more clear just how much Bryce is really a MIRACLE. We are so beyond BLESSED to have her and are so in awe of the MIRACLES that God creates in our lives.
One of my daily routines, as most of you know is sharing Bryce's little life with you. I have decided instead of catching up each day that I missed, I would just do one big plethora of pictures from the last few days. So here they are and enjoy. I will try very hard tomorrow to get back to the daily blogging of OUR MIRACLE.

We would like you all to know that we are so blessed to have you all in our lives. Thank you for all your prayers and support during this journey. We love you!

Making Breakfast

For the last 4 days, my favorite part of the day would be the morning. I love that Bryce wakes up so happy after a great night of sleep and that she comes to snuggle with me in bed. We will sit there and have our drinks while just being cozy, together. After Bryce got ready for the day, she was a great help to Alan in the kitchen making breakfast. She peeled the tangerines for her and I, she was so proud. They tasted so divine and were perfectly peeled.:)

Grandma Ginny came over for a few hours again today. What a great help she was with Bryce, laundry and changing sheets. Thanks Momma!!! She even brought this cute pillow case for Bryce. I love seeing all of the creations that she can do on that fancy sewing machine. Bryce is enjoying a very great nap right now with her new pillowcase. Sweet Dreams!
For all those daily blog watchers...
There may be days that go by that I am unable to get the blog done. It is really hard to type while laying down and since that is how I have to be, that is how it has to get done. So please don't worry when you don't see a blog for a day or two. We are all doing fine and hanging in there. We will update you all when we have more to share. At this point, our next appointment is for Friday morning. Thank you for all your contunied prayers.

Thought I would show you one of the 4 set of bruises. Ouch! Oh, and I took this picture all by myself, while laying down. Not bad!

Entertaining Mommy

Bryce was so beyond cute today. Her little caring spirit is such a great quality for her to already be showing and using. She decided that she was going to entertain me today with a little show with her Blue's Clues dogs. It was a great show and gave me a great little laugh. Thanks for lifting my spirits Love Bug!

Hey, what are these?
When Alan was out yesterday, he picked up some fun flash cards for me. I wanted to have a special little something that Bryce and I could do together. She is very eager to learn so this was a great idea. It was so fun showing and sounding out all the letters with Bryce. I am sure that it will be no time before she picks them up by herself and says them all.

Playtime

First thing this morning, Alan and Bryce left me for a trip to Target. I knew that Bryce would be a great help to Alan as she always is to me while shopping. So they kissed me and off they went.

After Bryce helped Alan put everything away, it was time to play with Mommy in bed. Oh, was I ready for this special treasured time. Bryce decided that we should play with her barn and her doll house. We had such a great time using our imaginations and being together.

We even shared a snack together. There is always time for that since playing makes you hungry.

I love you, Love Bug!!! Thanks for being sure a great sport and spending time with me in bed. Thank you, Alan for taking such awesome care of all of us. Thank you everyone for all the support and prayers. We love you!

Getting loved on...

How hard this is...listening, watching, and not being able to care for Bryce. As I am in bed, for the first of many days, will this get any easier? I am her Mom, her caregiver, her playmate, her friend, her protector and I can't do anything. Prayer, that is something that I can do, but it sure doesn't feel like enough.

Grandma Ginny came over this morning, to care for Bryce, so Alan could go out to take care of a few things. Bryce was very excited to have this special time with her and it was a great help to all of us. We had a great time looking at a few things that Grandma has been working on with her sewing machine for Aunt Kellie. How cute they are turning out and I can't wait to see what they will turn into. The bad thing about the morning and I hate this, is that Bryce didn't get her hair combed. She looks like such a rag-a-muffun. Oh well, I have to let those things not matter. But they will, if she is going out in public. All of the pictures today and for the next who knows how many month have been taken by me laying flat, sorry they are not great.

Bryce was totally eaten alive before Grandma left this afternoon. They both loved each little nibble and I am sure there will be seconds!!!
