Portland or Bust

When the alarm goes off at 5:00, there must be a reason. Today, that reason would be that we are flying to Portland. We are going to look at housing in the outskirts of Portland and want to get a feel for the area. Unfortunately, I had to wake up Bryce several hours before she wanted to get up. But the moment she knew that she was going to go on a plane, life was good. But let me tell you, that little plane that we went on, I wanted to so not be there. I hate little planes and this was one of those, there were only 4 seats across and 19 row, too small for me. There was a lot of turbulence too. But as we debarked, we were told by several people, that we have a very well mannered child and so well behaved. Good job Boo Boo Bear and Thank you Elmo!!!

Waiting in the airport...
This is the entrance to the Heathman Lodge, so beautiful!!!( This is the inside tomorrow, I will get the outside tomorrow).Bryce checking out all the beautiful Christmas decorations in the lobby.

The view from our room

Bryce and her dolly looking at the water from our room. We think that it is just a pool from the rain, but it is still beautiful. We are so beyond happy to be here.

I have grown so much that I may be taller than my Momma. The best part is that I can push the buttons in the elevator.
Rocka, Rocka- I am in your chair Grandpa Ken ,right by the fire. Where are you? At this point in the day, Bryce has been up since 6:30 (that's because I had to wake her up) and she has had a 10 minute nap in the car. What an amazing attitude this little one has had through out the entire day.

Listening to the music that was filling the room of the lobby. There were Christmas carolers singing and their voices filled the room. The front desk staff thought that Bryce was the most well behaved, cute child and they gave her this bear. Bryce immediately cuddled the little bear and the staff was full of Oohs and Ughs!!!

Waiting!!!

The days that I tell Bryce that Charlotte is coming, this is the spot that she goes to and stays till she arrives. I really think that the best part of Bryce's week is the days that Charlotte comes to play.
Where is she? This waiting is killing me!
Momma, She's here!!! Time to share a "babel" or in adult language that would be bagel. Auntie Ann bought the girls Bell Necklaces, they loved them. They ran down the hall and laughed as the bells Jingle, Jangle Jingled.

I thought that I would take advantage of the moment and pack Bryce's suitcase. That was a joke, Charlie and Bryce thought that they would pack themselves. Silly little girls.
Cutie Charlie!! Nice Spiky Hair Charlie! What a mess these two made out of Bryce's room. Each and every toy was touched, played with and then thrown. My goodness, more work for me. But I don't mind.

Tribute to "Jump"

There is not a morning, afternoon or evening that goes by that Bryce does not want to watch "jump". So we thought today we would pay a tribute to "jump". We even added the video clip so everyone could watch it again. Enjoy!!!

At Last

When James drove up with Charlotte this morning, Bryce let out a scream, "Char". She was so beyond excited to finally get to play with her cousin and friend. Now that they are both feeling better, let the play time begin.

The whole morning was filled with all they could do from, coloring, sliding, walking outside, jumping (of course) and even a few minutes sharing a spot on the couch to watch Elmo. It was a wonderful day for these two little loves.

Here is a little video of the girls jumping again. Charlotte was so much more into it than Bryce today. No matter, still funny!

Little Piggy

What a GORGEOUS day it was outside today. After we all slept in till almost 8:00 (what a wonderful treat), I was eager to get outside and enjoy the day. We had a few errands to run and were able to get them done quickly. While we were out, Bryce came across this little pig. A little not typical in the looks of a pig, but that is what make her so cute. When Alan saw Bryce's face as she hugged on this little pig, he asked her if she wanted to take her home. Well, there is a new little piggy in our house tonight!
Bryce has grown again, there is not one light switch that she can't reach. The counters are not even a safety zone anymore. If it is at the edge of a counter and she wants it...she gets it. As I put these adorable overalls on Bryce this morning, it was a proven fact that she had grown. They are now officially too short...that is so sad, she looks so cute in them.

The cutest little awkward pig!

Cabin Fever

There are days when we love to stay home and then there are days that we just want to get out. Bryce is starting to feel better, besides the continuous wiping of her little nose. So we took advantage and went out this afternoon to our favorite place...Victoria Gardens. As soon as we got out of the car, Bryce started saying"Choo choo". Of course, Alan made that little wish happen. He and Bryce has a wonderful little trip on the train. Then we enjoyed a yummy lunch outside, where Bryce was able to see the train go past us over and over again. This made for one very happy little girl.

I love you, Love Bug!
