Choo Choo

We had to vacate the house this afternoon because Uncle James was having an Open House for us. So we decided to take Bryce to Victoria Gardens to ride the train and have lunch. We had a wonderful lunch at the Yard House. Bryce was so exited because the train kept going past the restaurant.

As soon as lunch was over, Alan bought Bryce a token for the train and they got in line. All Aboard!!!Here we go...choo choo What's ahead? There they go! There back and then Bryce's first train ride was over. Bryce was very upset that the train ride was over. We decided that since we had nothing else to do, it was Mommy's turn to take a train ride with her. Bryce loved it as much as the first ride. We love sharing the excitement of these first adventures with her.
It was about time for the Open House to end so we headed home. But as we drove up to the house, we noticed that there was still cars there. A really good thing. So we made our way around the corner to Heritage Park. Bryce and Alan had a great time going down the slide together.

The day a Mother dreads...

The day you have to take your little one to get shots. UGH!!! But, I know that it is what needed, to happen. So with Daddy in tow to help, we made our way to the Doctors this morning. Bryce did very well despite getting 4 shots. The stats on Bryce now are, she is 20 months old, weighs 23 lbs (average) and is 33.5 inches long (above average). She is our perfect, beautiful, little Miracle.

On another note, we received a call at 8:45 this morning that someone already wanted to see our house. It had only been on the market for 22 hours. Then when I was outside this morning, another family pulled up and asked about us having an open house. I told them that they were welcome to come in and they did. It is so hard to be going through this process, but we know that there is a BIGGER plan for us. Alan thinks that we got another sign tonight that we need to be in Oregon. For the last year and a half, we have sat in the backyard each night. Well, tonight as we did so, we saw a new bird. It was a Dark-eyed Oregon Junco. They are not from around here, they migrate from Oregon and well this one found his way to our backyard. Too weird.

Bryce and I enjoyed our little walk to the mailbox tonight. She even took time to pick up this pretty hibiscus. I so enjoy taking pictures of all of the wonderful things that Bryce does and I am sure that I will FOREVER.

A Busy Morning

Charlotte, The Gardener, The Washer Repair man, The Sign guy , and Alan working around the house. These are all the things that I thought of as I sipped my coffee by myself this morning. They were all coming and coming this morning. Sometimes busy mornings are a wonderful thing and that is how ours was. Everything just came together very smoothly.

The girls had a wonderful day together and even managed to keep the house not a total disaster. They are so cute when they sit down to have a snack. Listening to their little conversations is so precious.

I am sure that the girls are saying" why are you taking our picture, we are eating".

Ann cut Charlie's hair and it is so cute. I wish that my hair looked like that. I wish Bryce had enough hair to cut, gotta love that curly mullet on Bryce though.

The return of the Red cup fun, it never fails, Bryce is beyond happy!!!

Taking Time

With all the hustle and bustle of each day, there is no time to take a moment to smell the roses. But that is something that Bryce and I make sure to do. We enjoy all of our 34 rose bushes and make sure that we take the time to "stop and smell the Roses".

This morning as I was making arrangements for all over the house, Bryce had to smell them all. Not just a rose in each bouquet, but all the roses in each arrangement. What a special moment it is to see your child enjoy something that you do.

On a sad note, we signed the papers today. Our home is officially on the market and the sign will be in the yard in the morning. I broke down and cried as I signed the papers, as well as when I told the neighbors. But I have to put my Faith in the Lord, that he has an amazing plan for us.

Doing things together

One of my favorite things about watching Charlotte and Bryce together, is what I get to teach them. It is so fun to teach them how to share and to do things together. There are challenges, but that is the fun of teaching them. I am so enjoying this time. Thanks Ann and James for letting me care for Charlotte.

Warm Nights

Bryce is very tired today, since she woke at 4:00 this morning. I am too! But we always make sure that there is time to sit outside and enjoy these warm nights.
