Daddy's Birthday

Today is Alan's 42nd Birthday. Happy Birthday Bubba!!! We had a great day...simple...but nice. We did a few errands and then we decided to take Bryce to Toys r Us for some Lego's. She loved playing with Lego's at Grandpa and Grandma Churchill's so, we thought that we would get her some. As we left Toys r us, we had a good laugh..Bryce got more presents than Alan did on his birthday.

We were so excited to find this great sun tent. It is for the beach and exactly what we needed. Bryce is so "white" and we need to protect her Princess skin. With this she can go play inside and crawl through the tunnel, without being in the direct sun. I was so beyond happy to find this before we leave to the beach this week. Not that we are going to need it with this weather. But if we do ,we are now prepared. No, it won't be staying in the den, we just wanted to see if Bryce liked it and to get her used to it before we leave. Our den looks like romper room...gotta love it.

Bryce has out grown her ride on toy...so this is what took its place. She loves it, especially the music button.

Another Cold...

How sad ....Our little boogaboo is sick AGAIN.

The cold bug has invaded her little body once more.

Bryce has had a cold every single month so far this year and the flu twice. Will it ever end?

Like a true Mother though, Bryce made sure that her babies were well taken care of .

More cousin time...

We love "cousin time"!!!

Today we were able to have Ethan and Evan come play for a little while. It was wonderful to spend time with them. We feel very spoiled getting to see so much of them this week.

Lego time...build,build,build. Ethan told Bryce and I that he was "a super-de-dooper builder", I will have to agree.

Ethan and Bryce shared sometime together in her rocking chair...until Ethan said that she was too heavy!

Bryce decided that she was going to teach Evan how to drink out of a cup. She took her cup and sat down by him and then they looked at each other. Bryce then drank from her cup, looking at Evan the whole time. Then she decided it was his turn so she put the cup towards his mouth. Now that is so sweet...babies teaching babies.

Nibble, nibble

Today Bryce found many other uses for her golf club....it was a rake and of course something to chew on. Yes, the dirt was still on there. GROSS!!! I guess they all taste dirt at some point.

My Little Helper

This morning I had a little helper with the dishwasher. I put all of Brycie's things in the corner on the bottom rack and opened her drawer and told her to put them all away. It was so fun to watch how excited she was to be helping Mommy. She did a great job, maybe she needs an allowance. LOL!!!

There is just something so special about "cousin time". This morning we were joined on our walk by Grandma Ginny and Charlotte as well as Becky and Evan. How fun is that. When we got back home we were able to watch them all play together for a little while. What a joy to see.

Charlotte and Bryce had fun making music together...while Evan decided that he was going to call someone to get him out of here.

Sharing moments...

Today, we left the suitcases, the laundry waiting to be done and went to play with Charlotte and Grandma Ginny. When we arrived Charlotte was so serious and ready for a nap...but after a few moments, there was no stopping this funny little lady.

Bryce was very excited to see Charlotte. They haven't seen each other in a few weeks and it was so cute to watch Bryce hug Charlotte over and over again. I pray that they stay this way FOREVER!!!

Catching up!!!

Bryce did a lot of catching up today. She made sure that she checked in with ALL her toys. That even included dragging her dolly down the hallway to bed. We spent time outside checking out all the new roses and flowers and while Bryce took naps, I weeded. We were overcome with weeds while we were gone, but that is time in the sun for me. YEAH!!!

Bryce took 2, 3 hour naps today as well as slept 12 hours in the night. She also ate so much food. The total opposite of when we were on vacation. She is either catching up or going on a growth spurt. Who cares, I enjoy being Brycie's Mom sooooooooo much!!!!
